Analyse des Speicherplatzverbrauchs auf Ubuntu Server in der Shell

In der GUI kennen wir unter Ubuntu schon lange das praktische Tool "Speicherplatzbedarf". Man öffnet es, lässt das Programm die Festplatte durchforsten und nach kurzer Wartezeit hat man eine Analyse vor sich, welche Ordner denn am meisten Speicherplatz benötigen.

Dies ist oft interessant, wenn der Speicherplatz zu neige geht und man wissen möchte, wo man zum Löschen ansetzen kann.

Nun hat man dieses Problem aber nicht nur auf Desktop-Rechnern, sondern auch auf Servern ohne grafische Oberfläche. Natürlich muss man auch hier nicht auf diesen Vorteil verzichten, denn ein paar Programmierer haben das Problem mit Ihrem Programm ncdu (NCurses Disk Usage) gelöst. Einfach via

sudo apt-get install ncdu

installieren und mit

ncdu

starten - fertig! Viel Spaß damit!

postfix on ubuntu 14.04 send and recieve mails slowly

Was looking why my server seems to always takes about 10 seconds till I can send my email via my client (Thunderbird) after an established connection. Also mail recieving took about 10s till it is delivered. I increased smtpd_tls_loglevel in /etc/postfix/main.cf to 4 and the transfer got stuck at

Exactly always 10 seconds, strange. So I looked up the error and found out, that the error is the Client reject table in the main.cf. I had there

smtpd_client_restrictions = reject_rbl_client sbl.spamhaus.org, reject_rbl_client blackholes.easynet.nl, reject_rbl_client dnsbl.njabl.org

as mentioned on this site then I changed to

smtpd_client_restrictions = reject_rbl_client sbl.spamhaus.org, reject_rbl_client blackholes.easynet.nl

so only left the last reject_rbl_client and then it worked without the 10s delay! Not forget to decrease loglevel in /etc/postfix/main.cf back from

smtpd_tls_loglevel = 4

to

smtpd_tls_loglevel = 1

bob Internet nicht für Fernzugriffe via Ports verwendbar

Hätte bei einem Standort wo nur temporär eine Geburtenüberwachung im Stall stattfinden soll eine IP-Cam aufgestellt und einen Port einfach nach aussen freigegeben. Da mir der bob breitband tarif am sinnvollsten vorkam wählte ich diesen. Danich das Problem mit der Portfreigabe beim mobilen Internet schon öfter hatte wollte ich anrufen und es einfach freischalten lassen. Leider geht das bei bob nichr, da man sich eine öffentkiche IP teilt und intern bei bob nur "geNATet" wird. daher sind nur verbindungen möglich, die von innen aufgebaut wurden... leider, werde eine Rücjabwicklung meines Staeterpakets beantragen Weoterer Link zur Thematik: http://www.tarifecheck.at/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6089
