Today I struggled with finding the right resource for installing a few new TAP devices so I can make multiple VPN connections via OpenVPN at the same time. Here are the steps to follow so you can install new TAP-Devices in Windows 10 1903:
1. Download and install the TAP-Installer from OpenVPN
You can download the installer via this link (actual version 9.24.2) or select the newest one or the 32bit-version here.
2. Open a cmd or Powershell with Admin rights
and navigate to C:\Program Files\TAP-Windows\bin . There you type .\addtap.bat .
You can run addtap.bat as often as many adapters you need.
